Patron Saint of Difficult, Impossible, & Hopeless Cases
To Whom It May Concern:
NOTICE # 1
For the record, Cordi-Marian Fathers is a distinct and particular Religious Congregation according to the legal prescriptions of Roman Catholic Church Canon Law, a.k.a., Church Law, which is used by the Catholic Church and is therefore a distinct and particular LEGAL entity and entitled to use the distinct and particular term Cordi-Marian Fathers.
An historical legal explanation of a Religious Congregation in general as applied by the Jurisdictions of dioceses and Uniate eparchies can be found in various places including the Codex Iuris Canonici,, e.g., ¶ # 488, 2.; Codex Iuris Canonici Orientalis, e.g., ¶ # 314, # 2; ¶ # 314, # 3; etc.
Also many years ago, and in terms of civil law, Cordi-Marian Fathers became a 100% exclusive, distinct, and particular legal civil Corporation by submitting the required and necessary documents, data, etc. in order to fulfill the requirements of the State because civil governments have various requirements and laws concerning Corporations and without which an organization can not become a legal Corporation.
In other words, when Cordi-Marian Fathers first began to exist in its own 100% very exclusive, distinct, and particular nature, being, and entity, it did so LEGALLY, both in terms of Church Law and also in terms of the State, especially in regard to the various Laws for Corporations. This very simply means that IF Cordi-Marian Fathers did NOT qualify - at the very moment of its first existence - to become a distinct and particular legal Corporation under the State Laws, the State would never have made it and/or recognized it as a 100% very exclusive, distinct, and particular Corporation and/or a 100% very exclusive, distinct, and particular Corporate entity in accordance with its own laws and its own requirements! This is an INDISPUTABLE FACT! In other words, a Corporation does not become a Corporation simply because it says it is a Corporation, ipso facto. This is not how the system works.
NOTICE # 2
To clear up any and all possible confusion, chaos, jumble, turmoil, disorder, mix-up, disconcertion, disorganization, disarrangement, misunderstanding, misconception, misinterpretation, misapprehension, misconstruement, due to any/all allegations, claims, declarations, assertions, and/or contentions, in which some thereupon claim the existence of one and/or more areas of similarity, resemblance, affinity, and similitude, which are analogous, thereupon construed, expounded, rendered, considered, deemed, regarded, thought, and/or otherwise interpreted to be of an albeit extremely remote, but nonetheless possible, confusing nature, therefore, be it known that the 100% very exclusive, distinct, and particular name, entity, and being: - Cordi-Marian Fathers - must NOT be confused with any other Religious Congregation which said any/all allegations, claims, declarations, assertions, and/or contentions, are posited, and/or otherwise claimed to be what are de facto vacuous areas of similarity, nature, species, and/or quiddity - whatness, with what is alleged and/or claimed to be any/all somewhat very remotely similar name(s).
Therefore, this includes, but is not limited to, the Claretian Fathers and Brothers with whom the 100% very exclusive, distinct, and particular name, being, and entity - Cordi-Marian Fathers - is NOT and never has been in any way and/or at any time and/or in any manner, mode, affiliated, and/or associated, united, membered, bound, related, fastened, combined, participated, mingled, merged, attached, linked, partnered, compacted with, whether directly and/or indirectly, in any/all ways of whatsoever kind, nature, genus, ontological essence with any/all species of concomitant metaphysical essences, of all being in, what, and howsoever constituted, so that each entity retains its own 100% exclusive, 100% distinct, 100% particular, and 100% or total, name-nature essence in specie, without any change(s), diminution, detachment, or prohibition thereunto, and not any one said nature and/or essence, thereof, to be constituted or amalgamated, in any way and/or in any matter by any process(es), howsoever constituted, into any/all part(s) of any other clearly distinct exclusive name nature in specie - to wit that the ontological essence and metaphysical essences of that of the said 100% exclusive, distinct, and particular named being, nature, essence, and entity - Cordi-Marian Fathers - is and continues to always remain with its own 100% very exclusive, distinct, and particular nature, being, species, and/or quiddity - whatness, so constituted by its ontological essence and metaphysical essences which are exclusive thereunto in specie, and without any change(s), diminution, detachment, or prohibition thereunto, and not any one said nature and/or essence, thereof, to be constituted or amalgamated, in any way and/or in any matter by any process(es), howsoever constituted, into any/all part(s) of any other clearly distinct exclusive name nature in specie, and hence, totally different, and not to ever be confused with the shadow or taint of the most remote similarity with the ontological essence(s) and metaphysical essences of any other entity and name, howsoever constituted, just as the Claretian Fathers and Brothers, including any/all of their other and/or alternate names, designations, and such-like, likewise continue to remain with their own exclusive nature, species, and/or quiddity - whatness, so constituted by their ontological essence and metaphysical essences also in specie - hence, totally different, and not to ever be confused with the shadow or taint of the most remote similarity with the ontological essence and metaphysical essences of that 100% very exclusive, distinct, and particular name which is known as Cordi-Marian Fathers which, likewise, is and continues to always remain exclusive and particular thereunto in specie, and thereby continues to fully retain its own 100% very exclusive, distinct, and particular name, which is NOT shared, or joined, or attached, or merged, or mingled, or commingled, or combined, with any/all other names, howsoever constituted and essenced, which is, to wit - Cordi-Marian Fathers - which name, for purposes of total clarity, is and continues to always remain 100% exclusive and distinct and particular thereunto in specie, without any change(s), diminution, detachment, or prohibition thereunto, and not any one said nature and/or essence, thereof, to be constituted or amalgamated, in any way and/or in any matter by any process(es), howsoever constituted, into any/all part(s) of any other clearly distinct exclusive name nature in specie.
In a good-faith effort: to try to be even more clear, the 100% very exclusive, distinct, and particular nature, being, and entity - Cordi-Marian Fathers - is NOT NOW, and it NEVER WAS, a part of the said Claretian Fathers and Brothers in any way, or by whatsoever other name(s) the aforesaid Claretian Fathers and Brothers, e.g. Claretian Missionaries, may have used in the past, and/or may, or may not, be currently using.
I humbly and respectfully extend my apologies to whoever has in any way, of whatsoever kind, been confused by what some consider to be similarities of name.
But now, without any confusion or doubts of whatsoever kind, it should be 100% very and most extremely clear, self-evident, and totally obvious to all, that there are no such real similarities, but rather 100% very clear and distinct differences concerning the said names.
For the record, to the best of my knowledge and my memory, not even one time has anyone who has ever been in contact with this website asked if Cordi-Marian Fathers is also, in some way, the Claretian Fathers and Brothers and/or the Claretian Missionaries, etc., etc.
To put it another way, no one has ever been confused on this issue, or about this subject, insofar as I know. There really is no actual basis for such confusion.
The reason is that it should be 100% self-evident and totally obvious to any rational, ordinary, English-speaking and English-reading person, who has been properly taught the differences of each word as found not only in colloquial English linguistics, but also in unabridged English dictionaries, of how to apply and/or to interpret the said meanings thereof of each individual word which is given expression within the context of any/all possible and various grammatical constructions, which are expressed in whatsoever manner, mode, or by whatever method, in the English language as it is used here in the United States of America, and therefore it is not an existing problem for said people - at least, and most definitely, to the best of my knowledge, not for the said people who have contacted this website over the years. In other words, this has never been an issue in the past and it should not be an issue now or at any time in the future.
Finally, because to the ordinary English-speaking, and English-reading, and English-writing person, the name-term which is Cordi-Marian Fathers is a name-term which is per se clearly and distinctly different from the name-terms: Claretian Fathers and Brothers and Claretian Missionaries.
It seems that repetition is frequently the best way to remember something. Therefore, again, one more time: Cordi-Marian Fathers has NEVER had anything to do with Claretian Fathers and Brothers and/or Claretian Missionaries, and/or with any of their other organizations - whatever they might be - and by whatsoever name they might and/or do use.
Finally, the put an end to this issue forever - ad infinitum - there are two final points to consider:
1. Even to a person who is illiterate, the name: Cordi-Marian, and the name: Claretian, even LOOK different! Why? Because of the self-evident reason that they are SPELLED differently.
2. Many, many years ago, when I was a Roman Catholic Seminarian in a Roman Catholic Seminary, I remember reading a book on psychology. One of the things the author of this book claimed was that it frequently happens that the human mind can better remember something when it is connected to a story or to a bit of humor.
Therefore, this is the ONLY reason why I now relate the following bit of humor - so that everyone can better remember the fact that the name: Cordi-Marian, and the name: Claretian, are not only different per se, but that they even LOOK different since they are even SPELLED differently.
The English language in a great mystery to those trying
to learn it. But it can also have some surprises for those who can speak
and read and write the English language. Case in point: some identical
words, i.e. words which are spelled exactly the same, can have a different
meaning, especially if one happens to visit other English-speaking countries.
Here are three brief examples:
U.S.A.: The word bonnet means headgear
of various types.
England: The word bonnet means hood as in the hood of a car or truck or other vehicle.
U.S.A.: The word boot means a type of footwear
and a specific type of shoe of various styles and material.
England: The word boot means the trunk of a car.
U.S.A.: The word napkin means an object used at the table for wiping the mouth and fingers while eating. Napkins can be of various styles and material - usually cloth or paper.
In Canada, the United Kingdom - including England, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa the word commonly used is serviette.
However, a native of Australia told me that, Down
Under, the word napkin usually means a diaper!
That could be rather embarrassing if one is dining at a restaurant with an Aussie who accidently drops her napkin and one offers to pick it up and hand it to her - especially if she always uses napkin to mean a diaper and uses only serviette for the U.S.A. word meaning napkin!?
Therefore, now I hope it is totally, 100% clear, beyond the shadow of any doubts, that the name: Cordi-Marian, and the name: Claretian, which even LOOK differently, and are SPELLED differently, are NOT the same, and DO NOT have anything remotely similar in their respective names with each other!
For the last time: Cordi-Marian Fathers has NEVER had anything to do with Claretian Fathers and Brothers and/or Claretian Missionaries, and/or with any of their other organizations - whatever they might be - and by whatsoever name they might and/or do use.
NOTICE # 3
In an attempt to put this into some perspective, and otherwise to try to make some sense of this whole thing about the alleged "similar names" theory - according to the said communication - it all sounds bogus to me, just as it also does to some of our Clergy.
I have been warned about how some law firms try to sue various people or organizations on behalf of their "clients" who, in reality, know nothing at all about what the said law firm is doing under the cover of the good name of their "clients"!
I fail to understand how the members of any Religious Congregation would want this website totally off of the internet, especially their alleged approval of the disrespectful and extremely materialistic and worldly anti-Christ spirit, and blatant anti-Catholic manner and tone, in which this information was presented.
Such a method is contrary to the Traditions and Customs of the Church because it is contrary to Charity and the work of the Priests of the Church in saving Souls.
A number of errors in the text, plus the text and method, all tend to imply that this is either bogus, or that the one and only reason for this nonsense is that - whoever or whatever is responsible for this - attempt to make a monopoly of websites such as this one by trying to merge all of them into one big money-making business?!
THIS is what is actually confusing - not the non-similarity of names!
SURPRISE, SURPRISE!!!! This website is NOT a business! It is, as explained above:
An Ecclesiastical, Religious, Spiritual, Devotional, Educational, Informational, News, Data, and E-Journal Web Site, Dedicated to Preserving the Authentic Apostolic Tradition of the Catholic Church on Important Subjects and Issues Concerning the Catholic Church and Her Members.
Perhaps one reason why at least some people are not confused about any of this is that, especially for the people who have been on the internet for years, some of them perhaps remember, at least to the best of my knowledge at this time, that this website was not only the very first website of the Catholic Church on the internet, but also the very first website devoted to Saint Jude that was on the internet!
Cordi-Marian Fathers has various Apostolates, as well as various Missionary and Pastoral Ministries, part of which includes the internet, on which is to be found the website to which this current web page belongs.
NOTICE # 5
Domain Name Data
The name of this website, ShrineofSaintJude is part of the legal Domain Name of this website which is: shrineofsaintjude.net
Because there are no duplicate Domain Names permitted on the internet, it should be self-evident that there is ONE, and only one, shrineofsaintjude.net, which means that no other web site can use this Domain Name: shrineofsaintjude.net
Therefore, there should NOT be any confusion in the mind of anyone about this fact.
For the record, although it is true that there are many similar Domain Names on the internet, this is an issue which has to do with the rules and regulations for granting Domain Names, not with all of the web sites which have Domain Names which are similar to, but not exactly the same as, all of the other web sites with similar, but NOT DUPLICATE, Domain Names.
Because no duplicate Domain Names are permitted, it should be obvious that one is required to make the necessary mental distinctions from among all of the many similar Domain Named websites.
Similar Domain Names are permitted on the internet and it is ludicrous and totally irrational to suggest, and/or to think, otherwise.
Therefore, there is nothing illegal about the over 20 web sites on the internet which today have similar Domain Names, especially since each one of them use, in one way or another, several of these terms in various combinations: Shrine, Saint, St., Jude, Thaddeus, etc., and with various designations such as: .net, .org, .com, etc.
To be more precise, I discovered 25 internet websites which are also devoted to Saint Jude in one or more ways.
What does this mean?
For one thing, it is proof that there are 25 other Domain Names which, as already mentioned, use, in one way or another, several of these terms in various combinations: Shrine, Saint, St., Jude, Thaddeus, etc. But there are NO DUPLICATE Domain Names.
For another thing, this is also proof that:
No one has a total, 100%, exclusive monopoly on all Domain Names to Saint Jude Thaddeus.
No one has a total, 100%, exclusive monopoly on websites devoted to Saint Jude Thaddeus.
No one has a total, 100%, exclusive monopoly on web pages devoted to Saint Jude Thaddeus.
No one has a total, 100%, exclusive monopoly on Devotion to Saint Jude Thaddeus.
No one has a total, 100%, exclusive monopoly on Novenas to Saint Jude Thaddeus.
No one has a total, 100%, exclusive monopoly on Masses to Saint Jude Thaddeus.
Proof that there is no 100% exclusive monopoly on the term "shrine of saint jude" as the result of doing a search, with this specific term in quotation marks: "shrine of saint jude", the results on Google say: "About 143,000 results", as in this graphic below:
Here is the listing of the said 25 websites I found on the internet that use these terms in various combinations: Shrine, Saint, St., Jude, Thaddeus, etc., and most especially there are
12 websites use the term: "Shrine of Saint Jude" (underlined for your convenience) which does not include Cordi-Marian Fathers'Shrine of Saint Jude.
6 websites use the term: " St. Jude Shrine".
5 websites use the term: "Saint Jude" in various combinations, with 3 in English, 1 in Spanish, and 1 in Portugese.
1 website uses the term: " St. Jude's Shrine".
1 website uses the term: "Shrine of St. Jude".
This is in addition to Cordi-Marian Fathers'Shrine of Saint Jude.
But please note that there are NO DUPLICATE
1. A Dominican Shrine of Saint Jude in Chicago, Illinois.
2. A Claretian shrineofstjude in Chicago, Illinois - the Claretian'sNational Shrine of
St. Jude.According to the Google web page search (see the graphic above), the URL the Claretians are now currently using is: shrineofstjude.claretians.org/3. A Shrine of Saint Jude in San Francisco, California
which is a ministry of the Dominican Friars of the Western Dominican Province.
4. A National Shrine of Saint Jude
which is served by the Carmelite friars at Faversham, in the southern English
county of Kent.
5. Another Dominican Shrine of Saint Jude in New York, New York.
6. The Rosary Shrine of Saint Jude in Washington, D.C.
7. The National Shrine of Saint Jude in Manila, Philippines.
8. A Shrine of Saint Jude in Paterson, New Jersey.
9. A St. Jude Shrine in Baltimore, Maryland.
10. A Shrine of Saint Jude in San Miguel (Mendiola), Manila, Philippines.
11. A Shrine of Saint Jude in Rockville, Maryland
12. Rosary Shrine of Saint Jude in Detroit, Michigan.
13. Shrine of Saint Jude in Sussex County, Delaware.
14. St. Jude Shrine in Thevara, Kerala, India.
15. Igreja de São Judas Tadeu in São Paulo, Brazil.
16. Dominican Monastery of Saint Jude in Marbury, Alabama.
17. St Jude's Shrine in Jhansi-284 001, India.
18. St. Jude Shrine in Thevara, Kerala, India.
19. St. Jude's Shrine in Yoodhapuram, Angamaly, Kerala, India.
20. St. Jude Shrine in Koothattukulam, Kerala, India.
21. St. Jude Shrine in Kureekad, Chottanikkara, Kerala, India.
22. Cathedral of Saint Jude Thaddeus in Veñegas St. Sibalom, Antique, Philippines.
23. Santuario San Judas Tadeo (Sanctuary of Saint Jude Thaddeus) in Ponce, Puerto Rico.
24. Shrine of Saint Jude in Miami, Florida.
25. Cathedral of Saint Jude the Apostle in Saint Petersburg, Florida.
I would Hope and think that the good Catholics, who have the above websites to Saint Jude, would be more than happy that there are many additional websites (here I include this website, lest anyone be confused) devoted to Saint Jude and that at least some of them, perhaps even all of them, provide Spiritual Services to Saint Jude such as Novenas and Masses, in order to help those people who seek the help from this Patron Saint of the Impossible?
WHY can not all of us leave each other alone in peace? Not once have I ever attacked or otherwise demanded that even one of any other Saint Jude websites be totally shut done!
Let everyone recall this Scripture:
"Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called children of God" (Matthew 5:9).I try to mind my own business by trying to do the best I can by making the 9-Day Novenas, and Offering the Masses, not only to Saint Jude, but also to other Saints, including Our Blessed Mother, for those people who have come to this website for help in their difficult cases.
The Testimonials webpage on this website contains wonderful Testimonials to Saint Jude from the people he has helped as the result of the 9-Day Novenas to Saint Jude which I, personally, have made for them!
And now I am - allegedly - told by an unknown organization - that I have to shut down this entire website to Saint Jude - the shrineofsaintjude.net !
What happened to:
"Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called children of God" (Matthew 5:9)?I humbly and respectfully remind whoever they might be:
"Charity is patient, is kind: Charity envieth not, dealeth not perversely; is not puffed up; Is not ambitious, seeketh not her own, is not provoked to anger, thinketh no evil" (1 Corinthians 13:4-5).
The Golden Rule
Have, whoever they are, forgotten the so-called Golden Rule?
“All things therefore whatsoever you would that men should do to you, do you also to them. For this is the law and the prophets” (Matthew 7:12).Apparently - whoever it is that they have claimed to be - have they never read from a certain classical Catholic Spiritual Autobiography, which is a wise and prudent read for its Spiritual value, and which says in part:
"I offered my all to God without reserve. I was continuously thinking and planning what I could do for the good of my neighbor..." (Op. Cit., # 153).Yet we are all supposed to accept - whoever it is that they have claimed to be - their misguided Spiritual philosophy?
"Charity urges and impels me..." (Op. Cit., # 212).
"Jeremias prophesied some 45 years. His main object was to exhort his people to repent, announcing to them the chastisements that the Lord would visit upon them. He was carried off to Egypt and met his death in the city of Tanis, where he was stoned to death by his fellow Jews. The principal trait of this great prophet was his tender-hearted love for his neighbor, a Charity full of compassion for both their temporal and spiritual needs, a Charity that never let him rest. Thus, even in the midst of the tumult of war, the confusion of a kingdom going to ruin, and the very death throes of his people in Jerusalem, he worked with constant dedication for the well-being of his fellow-citizens, thus meriting the fair name of Lover of the brethren and of the people of Israel." (Op. Cit., # 216).
"Love in a man who preaches the Word of God is like fire in a musket. If a man were to throw a bullet with his hands, he would hardly make a dent in anything; but if he takes this same bullet and ignites some gunpowder behind it, it can kill. It is much the same with the Word of God. If God's Word is spoken only naturally, it does very little; but if it is spoken by a priest who is filled with the fire of Charity-- the fire of love of God and neighbor--it will wound vices, kill sins, convert sinners, and work wonders..." (Op. Cit., # 216).
"Charity is the soul and the powerful driving force behind all the Archbishop's activities. He takes the sacred fire that always burns in his heart and spreads it everywhere..." (Op. Cit., # 441; Footnote # 277; ref. 1 Corinthians 13:1 - If I speak with the tongues of men, and of Angels, and have not Charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.).
"...keeping the Commandments assures a habit of Charity; the practice of the evangelical counsels removes the obstacles to acts of Charity; and prayer converts Charity into the fire of zeal" (Op. Cit., # 442; Footnote # 278).
"During the cholera epidemic, all the Clergy acquitted themselves admirably, day and night. I and all the Priests were among the sick constantly, caring for their spiritual and corporal needs. Only one Priest, the pastor of El Cobre, died and he was a victim of Charity. He began to feel some slight symptoms of the disease, but he took his medicine and there was some hope of his being cured. He was in bed recuperating when word came that one of the victims needed to see a Priest. At this, the Pastor said, I know that if I go I'll die because it will only worsen my condition; but because there is no other Priest available, I'll go. I'd rather die than fail this sick man who is calling for me. He went and on his return took to his bed and died" (Op. Cit., # 537).
"...Charity and Justice demand that we publish these facts, for two reasons: first, to shame the wicked by unmasking them, and second, to warn the unthinking that they
should not allow themselves to be deceived by the slanders and inventions ..... enemies are always stirring up against him, as the Jews did against Jesus" (Op. Cit., # 868).
I very humbly and respectfully ask - whoever they might happen be - IF this is an actual genuine communication - to please examine their consciences and to prayerfully review these Truths about Charity:
"1 If I speak with the tongues of men, and of Angels, and have not Charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
2 And if I should have prophecy and should know all mysteries, and all knowledge, and if I should have all Faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not Charity, I am nothing.
3 And if I should distribute all my goods to feed the poor, and if I should deliver my body to be burned, and have not Charity, it profiteth me nothing.
4 Charity is patient, is kind: Charity envieth not, dealeth not perversely; is not puffed up;
5 Is not ambitious, seeketh not her own, is not provoked to anger, thinketh no evil;
6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth with the Truth;
7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
8 Charity never falleth away" (1 Corinthians 13:1-8).
Other Things This Website Offers Visitors
Please note: The Roman Catholic Church does NOT permit any person(s) and/or any organization(s) - of whatsoever kind and howsoever constituted - to have any kind of any MONOPOLY whatsoever on any one or more Holy Saint(s), whether it be Saint Jude Thaddeus, and/or any other Saint, whether in terms of Masses, Devotions, and/or Prayers - which, of course, obviously include Novena Prayers as one form and type of Prayers.
This explains, for example, why the Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, given to Saint Dominic of the Order of Preachers, is a universal Devotion in the Roman Catholic Church concerning which the Order of Preachers does NOT have a monopoly.
The same is true of all other Devotions in the Roman Catholic Church.
Please understand that this website is so much, much more than just Novenas and Masses to Saint Jude Thaddeus.
For example: Masses are also offered to other Holy Saints of God. In addition, Masses are also Offered to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, to Our Blessed Mother, and also for the Poor, Suffering Souls in Purgatory. Likewise, Requiem Masses are also Offered for the Faithful Departed.

NOTICE # 8
Charitas Christi Urget Nos
Why is all of this available on this website?
Charitas Christi Urget Nos was the motto, so to speak, of Saint Paul the Apostle. As an actual motto, it has been used, whether informally, or formally, by others, and is also the motto of this website.
In other words, it is by the exercise of the Theological Virtue of CHARITY that this website has helped the Laity to become aware of the powerful intercession of Saint Jude. This zeal - which is Charity in action - tries to help others by providing educational and devotional data, including various prayers, as well as the Word of God in the New Testament. Plus, the Novenas and Masses for their intentions.
Therefore, I respectfully and humbly beg that - whoever these unknown people and/or organizations really are - to very prayerfully re-think their demands to have this website - shrineofsaintjude.net - shut down.
This website is here, by the Most Holy Will and Grace of God, seeking always and above all the Greater Glory of God and the Salvation of Souls. Ad Maiorem Dei Gloriam!
It is both wise and prudent to do now that which, on the day of judgment, one will wish he had done now, as taught during the semi-annual Retreats many long years ago:
“Third Rule. The third, to consider, as if I were at the point of death, the form and measure which I would then want to have kept in the way of the present election, and regulating myself by that election, let me make my decision in everything.”
“Fourth Rule. The fourth, looking and considering how I shall find myself on the Day of Judgment, to think how I would then want to have deliberated about the present matter, and to take now the rule [Commandment; Precept] which I would then wish to have kept, in order that I may then find myself in entire pleasure and joy.”(Father Saint Ignatius De Loyola, S.J. [b. at Loyola Castle, Guipuzcoa, Spain in 1491 A.D. - d. at Rome, Italy in 1556 A.D.], THE SPIRITUAL EXERCISES OF Saint IGNATIUS OF LOYOLA, Translated from the Autograph by Father Elder Mullan, S.J., Imprimatur, John Cardinal Farley, Archiepiscopus Neo-Eboracensis, Neo-Eboraci, Die 25 Aprilis, 1914, publisher P.J. Photos are Posted for Historical and Credibility Purposes
Since one picture is worth a thousand words, here are thousands of words condensed in living color including a brief description with each photograph taken over the years.
Please note that the ONLY reason why my personal photos are posted on this website is for historical and credibility purposes.
What does this mean?
The first few photos, which were taken a long, long time ago, have been posted to prove my physical attendance at a Roman Catholic Seminary all those many, many, many years ago. Two of them are actually my personal Graduation photos of myself with my Seminary classmates, etc. Most people have Graduation photos. I do NOT give the names of anyone on these Graduation photos.
Over time, some of the Priests in these photos died due to old age. Likewise, over time, some of my fellow Seminarians - those who had left the Seminary - eventually got married. I remember that several of them got married within a very short time after they left the Seminary and one lived on a "ranch" across the road from the Seminary. I also remember being invited to, and my physically attending, the wedding of one of my Seminary classmates.
It has been claimed that these photos cause extreme damage to those in the pictures.
It is customary for schools (and Seminaries) to take photos of each Graduation Class. Two of these photos, in which I am physically in, were taken of my Graduation. One is of my Graduation Class when we all graduated from Postulants to Novices, and this photo also includes those who graduated from Novices to Professed Religious. Another photo is also of my Graduation Class when we graduated from Novices to Professed Religious. Who can say that I have no right to post my own Graduation Class photos?
Furthermore, all of these Seminary photos are used ONLY for historical and credibility purposes as mentioned above. Please note that no names of anyone in these photos are given, just as the names of the locations and any/all other names, concerning these photos, are deliberately omitted for purposes of privacy.
Besides that, except for myself, no one in the Seminary photos have ever had anything to do either with Cordi-Marian Fathers and/or this website and it is most probable that none of them even know anything about this website. Please try to understand that these photos are not intended to prove that any of them were in the Seminary, but only that I did physically attend a Seminary which my photos prove.
Again, I emphasize for purposes of clarity: none of them have ever belonged to our Corporation which name is Cordi-Marian Fathers. Historically, those photos were taken many, many years before Cordi-Marian Fathers ever existed. Nothing on any of our web pages has ever said that any of them, whether individually, or as a group, are, or ever were, members of Cordi-Marian Fathers. In addition, I deliberately do NOT give the name of any specific Seminary or its location.
All of my other photos have been posted to prove my various Missionary and Pastoral Ministries over the years.
My posting of these photos on this website seemed to me to be one of the best ways for me to prove, not only that I did physically attend a Roman Catholic Seminary, but also that I received the Sacrament of Holy Orders and have been involved with my Missionary and Pastoral Ministries, along with various fellow Priests and Prelates, as well as various Apostolates, including this website.
The photos of myself with various Roman Catholic Prelates and Priests, including the Clergy Conferences I attended with some of them, also clearly indicates their own acceptance of me as also being a valid and lawful member of the Roman Catholic Clergy.
Therefore, because by their fruits you shall know them (Matthew 7:15,16), the logical solution to me to introduce myself on the internet, especially via this website, was for me to review some of my photographs which had been taken over a very long time period and to post a few of them.
This explains why I choose the various photos I did, both for their historical value, and also for credibility purposes.
It should also be noted that, as one might logically expect, I personally know the people who are in the photographs in which I am in, and also in the photographs which I have personally taken, or which were taken by others, at my request, with my personal camera. Some, but not all of them, are also some of my personal friends.
A few of the Priests and Prelates in the later photos, as well as those whose photos I have not posted, have called me from time to time over the years with various questions - not because I am an "expert" on anything, but rather because I have been doing research for many years on various subjects which are of importance, and/or interest, to them, and therefore I am familiar with various sources (e.g. books) to which to refer them in order that they could go to their local library and know exactly which book(s) they needed to read or otherwise consult, and, as is often necessary, to get some of these books with the library book loan program which various libraries have with each other.
These personal photos of mine are not intended for any other purpose or purposes, except historical and credibility. I do not grant permission to anyone to use them for any purpose because these are my personal photos.
I respectfully request that no one impute any other reason(s) and/or purpose(s)
to these photos which are to be found on the following web page other than
for their only intended purposes which are only for their basic historical
value and to help to establish credibility within the context of by
their fruits you shall know them (Matthew 7:15,16) - my interaction
with other Prelates and Priests, some of whom have helped me with my various
Missionary and Pastoral Ministries. Here is the link for the photo
NOTICE # 10
In my Missionary and Pastoral Ministries and Apostolates, by the Most Holy Will and Grace of God, I have always tried to faithfully observe the following goals, originally written by a Holy Saint, and concerning which no one has a monopoly on this Virtuous and Practical Plan of Action which ALL of the Clergy, whether Priests or Bishops, both the Seculars and those of all Religious Orders and all Religious Congregations, most especially ALL Missionaries, would do well to imitate:
"A Son of the Immaculate Heart of Mary is a man who burns with love [Charity] and spreads that love [Charity] wherever he goes. He effectively desires and strives by all possible means to enkindle in all men the fire of God's Love [Charity]. Nothing discourages him; he rejoices in privations, eagerly seeks out work, welcomes hardships, is happy even amid misunderstandings, and is delighted even in the face of suffering. He concerns himself only with imitating Jesus Christ in prayer, work and suffering; he seeks always and above all the Greater Glory of God and the Salvation of Souls."
To this I have added:
"From the motives of the Interior Spiritual Life of the Virtues of Charity, Compassion, and Mercy, and also in virtue of - - - - - - - - - - , and also in the fullness of Our own valid and lawful Ecclesiastical Power, Authority, and Jurisdiction, We grant all of the Plenary Indulgences necessary to all of the Poor, Suffering Souls currently in each and every part of Purgatory, and also to all of the Souls which are destined to go into each and every part of Purgatory, between now and the end of the world, so that each and everyone, without any exception(s), may be taken immediately into the Eternal Glory of Heaven before the Throne of Almighty God. Amen."
"And I saw a great white throne, and One sitting upon it, from whose Face the earth and heaven fled away, and there was no place found for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing in the presence of the throne, and the books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the Book of Life; and the dead were judged by those things which were written in the books, according to their works" (Apocalypse 20:11-12).
