Concerned Catholics Ask Questions - About Pope Prophecies, End of World, etc.

Skeptics and non-Spiritual people in general, so it seems, tend to be cynical about prophecies because some critics point out how rather vague and general some of them are, e.g. the cryptic quatrains of Nostradamus (Michel DeNotredame [b. 1503 A.D. - d. 1566 A.D.], a French astrologer) who, although he seems to have had a valid reason for his method of writing, used a writing method which can be easily mimicked as witnessed by the forged quatrain about 9-11 which fooled many sincere and honest people into thinking that Nostradamus prophecized that America would be attacked on 9-11. Therefore, it should be no surprise to anyone that in order to support their cynicism, such critics tend to be fond of quoting two sources from antiquity.

Cynics who grasp at straws attempting to justify their position for not accepting true and genuine prophecies would be well advised to recall how God the Holy Ghost, through the pen of Saint Paul, teaches: “Despise not prophecies” (1 Thessalonians 5:20).

While it is true that there have been false prophecies down through the centuries, even as recently as the 9-11 example, nevertheless this does not somehow mean that all prophecies are automatically false. Many prophecies are true and many contain warnings to mankind as a proof of God’s love for each of us.

What is Prophecy and the “Gift of Prophecy”?

The Angelic Doctor has devoted a section of his illustrious work to the subject of prophecy. Other Catholic authors have also written on this subject. Here are a few random excerpts:

Prophecy is Knowledge

“I answer that, Prophecy first and chiefly consists in knowledge, because, to wit, prophets know things that are far [procul] removed from man's knowledge. The Intention of the Mind of the Prophet

“It is requisite to prophecy that the intention of the mind be raised to the perception of Divine things: wherefore it is written (Ezech. 2:1): ‘Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak to thee.’ This raising of the intention is brought about by the motion of the Holy Ghost, wherefore the text goes on to say: ‘And the Spirit entered into me...and He set me upon my feet.’ After the mind's intention has been raised to heavenly things, it perceives the things of God; hence the text continues: ‘And I heard Him speaking to me.’ Accordingly inspiration is requisite for prophecy, as regards the raising of the mind, according to Job 32:8, ‘The inspiration of the Almighty giveth understanding’: while revelation is necessary, as regards the very perception of Divine things, whereby prophecy is completed; by its means the veil of darkness and ignorance is removed, according to Job 12:22, ‘He discovereth great things out of darkness.’” (Saint Thomas Aquinas, O.P., SUMMA THEOLOGICA II-II, 171, 1, Reply to Objection 4.)

The Truth of a Genuine Prophecy

“Since the same truth of prophecy is the same as the truth of Divine foreknowledge, as stated above, the conditional proposition: "If this was prophesied, it will be," is true in the same way as the proposition: "If this was foreknown, it will be": for in both cases it is impossible for the antecedent not to be. Hence the consequent is necessary, considered, not as something future in our regard, but as being present to the Divine foreknowledge, as stated in I, 14, 13, Reply to Objection 2.” (Saint Thomas Aquinas, O.P., SUMMA THEOLOGICA II-II, 171, 6, Reply to Objection 3.)

The “Gift of Prophecy” is a “Gift of the Holy Ghost”

“On the contrary, It is written (2 Peter 1:21): ‘For prophecy came not by the will of man at any time, but the holy men of God spoke, inspired by the Holy Ghost.’ Therefore prophecy comes not from nature, but through the Gift of the Holy Ghost.” (Saint Thomas Aquinas, O.P., SUMMA THEOLOGICA II-II, 172, 1.)

A Genuinely True Prophecy Can Not be a False Prophecy

“On the contrary, Cassiodorus says [*Prol. in Psalter i] that ‘prophecy is a Divine inspiration or revelation, announcing the issue of things with invariable truth.’ Now the truth of prophecy would not be invariable, if its matter could be false. “If, however, we consider a good life, with regard to the passions of the soul, and external actions, from this point of view an evil life is an obstacle to prophecy. For prophecy requires the mind to be raised very high in order to contemplate spiritual things, and this is hindered by strong passions, and the inordinate pursuit of external things. Rules to Distinguish
True and Genuine Prophecies from False Prophecies

Here is a brief summary of
how you can distinguish True from false prophecies.

1) The recipient of the Gift of Prophecy should be, as a rule, good and virtuous, for all mystical writers agree that the Gif of Prophecy is usually granted by God to holy persons. The disposition or temperament of the person should also be considered. Plus, the general state of health and of the brain of the recipient must be considered, especially so that delusions are not misinterpreted as prophecies..

2) The prophecy, to be True and Genuine, must be conformable to Catholic Truth and piety, because if it propose anything against the Faith or morals of the Catholic Church, it cannot proceed from God the Holy Ghost Who is the Spirit of Truth.

3) The prediction should concern things outside the reach of all natural knowledge, and have for its object future contingent things or those things which God alone knows.

4) The prediction should also concern something of a grave and important nature which is for the good of the Catholic Church, the Mystical Body of Christ, and/or the good of souls. This and the preceding point will help you to distinguish True and genuine prophecies from false prophecies, whether they come from con-artists or other charlatans. Such people might tell you things beyond human knowledge and yet still be within the scope of the natural knowledge of demons. Yet devils have no real knowledge of the objects of prophecy.

5) Prophecies or revelations which make known the sins of others, or which announce the predestination or reprobation of souls are to be suspected. Please note that God has four secrets which are considered so secret that they must always be deeply respected because it is extremely rare that any of them ever be revealed to anyone. These four are:

a) The state of conscience in this life.
b) The state of souls after death unless they have been canonized by the Catholic Church.
c) The mystery of predestination. Historically, the secret of predestination has been revealed only in extremely exceptional cases, but that of reprobation has never been revealed, because so long as the soul is in this life, its salvation is possible.
d) The day of the General Judgment is also a secret. But it is so secret that it has never been revealed, not even to the Holy Angels in Heaven.

6) Although you have to ascertain afterwards whether or not a certain prophecy has been fulfilled in the way it was foretold, there are some limitations to this rule:

a) If the prophecy is conditional, i.e. it is absolute, but rather that it contains warnings and is tempered by certain conditions expressed or understood in the prophecy as exampled by the conditional prophecy of Jonas to the Ninivites and the conditional prophecy of Isaias to King Ezechias.

b) If the True and genuine prophecy, which is actually from God, has been misinterpreted because of the weakness of human nature because of Original Sin. Such a false interpretation can happen and one must be aware that this can happen.

Hence, it is in virtue of one or both of the above two limitations that the Church explains how the prophecy of Saint Bernard of Clairvaux [b. Castle Fontaines, near Dijon, France in 1090 A.D. - d. at Clairvaux, France on Friday, August 21, 1153 A.D.], Abbot of Clairvaux, Doctor of the Church, regarding the success of the Second Crusade did not happen, and that of Saint Vincent Ferrer, O.P. [b. at Valencia, Friday, January 23, 1350 A.D. - d. at Vannes, Brittany on Monday, April 5, 1419 A.D.], famous fiery Dominican missionary who, for twenty years, traversed Western Europe preaching penance and the near approach of the General Judgment in his day which also did not happen.

The Charismata of Prophecy

The Charismata is a Good Gift from God

The Greek term charisma denotes any good gift that flows from God's benevolent love (charis) to mankind. It refers to any Divine Grace or favor, and it ranges from redemption and life eternal to comfort in communing with brethren in the Faith, e.g. “But not as the offence, so also the gift. For if by the offence of one, many died; much more the grace of God, and the gift, by the grace of one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. And not as it was by one sin, so also is the gift. For judgment indeed was by one unto condemnation; but grace is of many offences, unto justification.” (Romans 5:15-16).

The Charismata is also Spiritual Graces

Yet, the term also has a more narrow meaning, namely, the spiritual Graces and qualifications granted to all Catholics to perform their work in the Church, as the Apostle writes: “every one hath his proper Gift [i.e. Charisma] from God; one after this manner, and another after that” (1 Corinthians 7:7).

The Charismata Is Also Extraordinary Graces Freely Given by God

Finally, in its most narrow sense, Charisma is the theological term to denote extraordinary Graces freely given by God to individual Catholic Christians for the good of others. Most of these are enumerated by Saint Paul:

Now there are diversities of Graces, but the same Spirit; And there are diversities of ministries, but the same Lord; And there are diversities of operations, but the same God, Who worketh all in all. And the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man unto profit. To one indeed, by the Spirit, is given the word of wisdom: and to another, the word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit; To another, faith in the same spirit; to another, the Grace of healing in one Spirit; To another, the working of miracles; to another, prophecy; to another, the discerning of spirits; to another, diverse kinds of tongues; to another, interpretation of speeches. But all these things one and the same Spirit worketh, dividing to every one according as He will. For as the body is one, and hath many members; and all the members of the body, whereas they are many, yet are one body, so also is Christ. For in one Spirit were we all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Gentiles, whether bond or free; and in one Spirit we have all been made to drink.” (1 Corinthians 12:1-13; emphasis added.)

The Charismata of Prophecy was Prophecized
in an Old Testament Prophecy

Thus the Charismata of Prophecy is but one of the diversities of Graces which God freely gives to whomsoever He wills. The extraordinary Gift/Charismata of Prophecy was foretold in a prophecy by an Old Testament Prophet: “And it shall come to pass after this, that I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall PROPHESY: your old men shall DREAM DREAMS, and your young men shall see VISIONS. Moreover, upon my servants and handmaids in those days I will pour forth My Spirit, and they shall PROPHESY.” (Joel 2:28-29; emphasis added.)

The Office of Prophecy

“For as in one body we have many members, but all the members have not the same office: so we being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. And having different Gifts, according to the Grace that is given us, either PROPHECY, to be used according to the rule of faith; Or ministry, in ministering; or he that teacheth, in doctrine; He that exhorteth, in exhorting; he that giveth, with simplicity; he that ruleth, with carefulness; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.” (Romans 12:4-8; emphasis added.)

The Graces Freely Given - Gratiæ Gratis Datæ

The Angelic Doctor indicates that the Apostle correctly divides the Charismata where he says: “On the contrary, The Apostle says (1 Cor. 12:8,9,10): ‘To one indeed by the Spirit is given the word of wisdom; and to another the word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit; to another, the working of miracles; to another, prophecy; to another, the discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another interpretation of speeches.’” (Saint Thomas Aquinas, O.P., [b. 1225 A.D. in Rocca Secca, Naples, Italy - d. Wednesday, March 7, 1274 A.D., in Fossa Nuova, Italy], Doctor of the Church, SUMMA THEOLOGICA I-II, 111, 4.) Even so, Saint Paul did not intend to give an exhaustive enumeration of all of the Charismata, for at the end of the chapter he mentions several more. Plus, he makes no attempt at a scientific division.

The Charismata of Prophecy
in the Days of the Apostles

The Scriptures relate, among various instances, the following examples of the exercise of the Office and Gift of the Charismata of Prophecy in the days of the Apostles.

“And in these days there came prophets from Jerusalem to Antioch: And one of them named Agabus, rising up, signified by the Spirit, that there should be a great famine over the whole world, which came to pass under Claudius.” (Acts 11:27-28).

“And entering into the house of Philip the Evangelist, who was one of the Seven, We abode with him.. And he had four daughters, virgins, who did prophesy.” (Acts 21:8-9).

“And let the prophets speak, two or three; and let the rest judge. But if any thing be revealed to another sitting, let the first hold his peace. For you may all prophesy one by one; that all may learn, and all may be exhorted.” (1 Corinthians 14:29-31).

To Saint Paul, the Gift/Charismata of Prophecy was the greatest of all of them, where he writes to “Follow after Charity; be zealous for Spiritual Gifts; but rather that you may prophesy.” (1 Corinthians 14:1). “For greater is he that prophesieth, than he that speaketh with tongues.” (1 Corinthians 14:5).

To Saint Paul, the second greatest Office in the Church is the Office of the Prophet where he writes: “And God indeed hath set some in the church; first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly doctors; after that miracles; then the graces of healing, helps, governments, kinds of tongues, interpretations of speeches.” (1 Corinthians 12:28)

Is it True That the next Pope Will Be the Last Pope?

Having first patiently read the above objective explanations of what Prophecy is, what the Gift of Prophecy is, and what the Charismata of Prophecy is, you now have some background knowledge to calmly and objectively, without becoming emotional, approach the answer, found in various prophecies, as to whether or not it is true that the next Pope, i.e. the one who will succeed Pope John-Paul 2, will be the last pope.

Archbishop Saint Maelmhaedhoc (Malachy) O’Morgair, a.k.a. Maol Maedoc [b. at Armagh, Ireland in 1094 A.D. - d. at the Abbey of Clairvaux on Tuesday, November 2, 1148 A.D.; Feast Day November 3], baptized as Maelmhaedhoc (Latinized as Malchy), was ordained a Priest by Bishop Saint Cellach (Celsus) in 1119 A.D., chosen Abbot of Bangor in 1123 A.D., consecrated as a Bishop for the Diocese of Connor, and made Archbishop and Primate of Armagh in 1132 A.D. Malachy accurately predicted the place and time of his own death when in Rome in 1148 A.D. In 1190 A.D. Archbishop Malachy was canonized the first Irish Saint by the Roman Catholic Pope Clement III, Paolo Scolari [Saturday, December 19, 1187 - March, 1191]. His relics in the cathedral at Troyes.

His Pope prophecies have become fairly well known. They were made in Rome in 1139 A.D. during his pilgrimage to visit the Roman Catholic Pope Innocent II, Gregorio Papareschi [Friday, February 14, 1130 - Friday, September 24, 1143]. While in Rome, he also visited the Lateran Basilica, the home church of the Popes. It is claimed that, while kneeling in the Lateran Basilica, he had a vision of all future Popes. Saint Malachy gave each future Pope a short cryptic term in Latin which was supposed to describe each Pope. After writing down his prophecies, he gave them to Pope Innocent II who put them into one of the many “black holes” of the Vatican archives where they remained unknown for over 400 years.

These prophecies, which were first mentioned by the Benedictine historian Arnold Wion or DeWyon, in his book LIGNUM VITAE in 1559 A.D., begin with the Roman Catholic Pope, Celestine II, Guido [Sunday, September 26, 1143 - Wednesday, March 8, 1144] in 1143 A.D.

The most common objections to the authenticity
of these prophecies are these three:

1) Saint Bernard never mentions them in his biography of Bishop Saint Malachy.

2) Although this prophecy includes anti-Popes, Saint Malachy only designed two of them as anti-Popes.

3) Some claim that, because the prophecies from the reign of Pope Urban VII, Giovanni Battista Castagna [Saturday, September 15, 1590 - Thursday, September 27, 1590] are quite vague, they must be forgeries of the 16th Century.

This was the opinion of Claude François Menestrier [b. at Lyons, France Sunday, March 9, 1631 A.D. - d. at Paris, France Wednesday, January 21, 1705 A.D.], Jesuit preacher, professor of rhetoric, and antiquarian, who claimed the prophecies were a forgery dating from the 1590 A.D. conclave which elected Pope Gregory XIV, Niccolo Sfondrati [Wednesday, December 5, 1590 - Wednesday, October 16, 1591]. Menestrier even names one of the members of the political party of Cardinal Simoncelli as the forger. He theorized that this forger probably wanted his candidate to be elected Pope because the prophecy apparently fitted him exactly?

On the other hand, Onofrio Panvinio [b. at Verona, Italy on Sunday, February 23, 1530 A.D. - d. at Palermo, Italy on Sunday, April 7, 1568 A.D.], an Augustinian Hermit, and outstanding historian and archaeologist, totally accepted these prophecies.

This is apparently an interpolation, perhaps based upon the Apocalypse? Not only is #112 inconsistent which the terse wording of the description of all previous Popes, but also, accoding to one source, Malachy's original prophecies listed only 111 Popes, not 112! #112, it has been claimed, was only added after the 1820 publication of the prophecies of Archbishop Malachy.

However, it is also possible that this claim that #112, who was only added after the 1820 publication of the prophecies of Archbishop Malachy, is not really True.

Despite this, there seems to be some merit for at least considering the possibility of a #112. Why?

Ironically, the Apocalypse itself indicates that God will permit anti-Christ to destroy the city of Rome, and, of course, with the destruction of the entire city of Rome, the Vatican and Saint Peter's Basilica, which are located inside the city of Rome, will also be destroyed. The new headquarters of the Catholic Church, according to Father Herman Kramer in THE BOOK OF DESTINY, will be Jerusalem. Part of this is even somewhat consistent with the vision which Pope Saint Pius X had!

The story goes, and this may or may not be True, so far there seems to be no way to prove it or to disprove it, that sometime during 1909 A.D., while granting an audience, Pope Saint Pius X leaned back and closed his eyes. Suddenly he "awoke" and cried out: "What I see is terrifying. Will it be myself? Will it be my successor? What is certain is that the pope will quit [leave] Rome, and in leaving the Vatican, he will have to walk over the dead bodies of his priests." IF this is true, it would seem that the Pope he saw in his vision is most probably "Peter the Roman", perhaps called "the Roman" because he is the last Pope of Rome??!!

NO!

The Apocalypse indicates that the Vatican and Rome will be totally destroyed by anti-Christ!!! But this is not the end because the Apocalypse talks about a thousand years of peace which follows the reign of anti-Christ during which time Christ, not a Pope, will rule His Church! This is then followed by a time of apostasy, but again there is no Pope to be found in Jerusalem, the new headquarters of the Catholic Church after the Vatican and the city of Rome are totally destroyed by anti-Christ.

Of course, it is also True that there is the possibility of a Pope #112, called "Peter the Roman", in which case Pope Benedict XVI, #111, will not be the last Pope. But, some people take the position that there is a break in the listing of the Popes between Popes #111 and #112. This opens the door for an unknown number of Popes in the interim.

However, this seems to be illogical. Why? Because the Apocalypse goes into some detail about the destruction of the entire city of Rome, which would automatically include the total destruction of Vatican City and Saint Peter's basilica. This annihilation of Rome could not happen any later that #112, Peter the Roman!

Also, because these current days in which we now live seem to very accurately correspond to what the Catholic private prophecies or private revealation seem to indicate that the world will be like just immediately before the reign of anti-Christ.

this is True, and it may nor may not be True, it would seem that the False Prophet of anti-Christ would have to be the next Pope after Pope John-Paul 2, the newly elected Pope Benedict XVI, because, IF Pope # 112, called "Peter the Roman", was an addition made to this listing after 1820 A.D., Pope #111, Benedict XVI, is the last Pope, and Pope #111, Benedict XVI, comes after Pope # 110 in this listing who is Pope John-Paul 2. You will find more information about the False Prophet of anti-Christ in the Apocalypse.

However, now that everyone knows that Pope #111 is Pope Benedict XVI, Joseph Ratzinger [Tuesday, April 19, 2005 - present], it seems very, very unlikely that this newly elected Pope, Pope Benedict XVI, Joseph Ratzinger, would be the False Prophet of anti-Christ??!!! But, of course, only time will tell for certain.

So, therfore, one is left with four possibilities:

1) Father Kramer, who studied the Apocalypse for about 30 years, was wrong in thinking that the False Prophet of anti-Christ would be a Pope.

2) The False Prophet of anti-Christ is to be understood in a moral sense, not in a literal sense, and the "killing" of huge numbers of victims on the main altar in Saint Peter's could be the use of the NOR, the New Mass, on the main altar in Saint Peter's basilica in the Vatican, because, since the NOR is an INVALID Rite of Mass, along with its INVALID Rites for each of the Seven Sacraments, its VICTIMS are the SOULS, not the bodies, of millions and millions of people who now burn in Hell for all eternity because they were not able to escape going to Hell because the Sacrament of Baptism, and especailly, Holy Orders and Penance, are all per se INVALID in the NOR ritual!

3) The False Prophet of anti-Christ, who is to be a Pope according to Father Kramer, although Father Kramer never said exactly WHICH Pope would be the False Prophet of anti-Christ, is a Pope who is NOT on this listing of Popes by Malachy, coming somewhere between Pope #111, Pope Benedict XVI, Joseph Ratzinger, and Pope # 112, assuming there will be a Pope # 112 and one or more Popes between # 111 and # 112.

4) Father Kramer got it right, namely, that the False Prophet of anti-Christ is a listed Pope, and that this Pope of anti-Christ, the False Prophet, could - possibly - be Pope #111, Pope Benedict XVI, Joseph Ratzinger??!! I personally hope and pray that this is NOT the case!! He certainly conveys the appearance of a kind, quiet, soft-spoken person who wants to help people as he works in the Vineyard of Christ.

But, there seems to be some strong proof for position number four which comes in part from Father Malachi Martin, S.J., the author of Windswept House??!!

Father Malachi claims that he wrote the Truth in Windswept House about the "enthronement" of Satan in Saint Paul's chapel in the Vatican and also that, YES, there IS a general Satanic Conspiracy within what he calls the "Roman Church", but which, for obvious reasons, is more accurately called: The SATANIC Vatican 2 church!!! The Secret of LaSalette

On Saturday, September 19, 1846, the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared near LaSalette, France to two children, Peter Maximim Giraud, 11, and to Frances Melanie Mathieu, 14. Each was given Secret Prophecies which were sent to Pope Pius IX who, on August 24, 1852, recognized this apparition and these Secret Prophecies as genuine. Melanie's entire Secret was published in 1879 with the approval of the Bishop of Lecce in Italy. From it We quote those prophecies important for this time.

It has come to Our attention that at the Conclave which selected John-Paul 1, Albano Luciani [Saturday, August 26, 1978 - Thursday, September 28, 1978], it has been claimed that you, then Cardinal "Wojtyla always takes along some reading matter wherever he goes, and during those long periods of voting in the conclave he was calmly perusing a [philosophy] book of political theory by Karl Marx. Perhaps this would explain in part why, especially in his public appearances when traveling around the world, what he did was not very good, especially regarding his very subtle attacks against the Catholic Faith, Mass and Sacraments which he kept changing - the "evolution" so dear to Modernist heretics according to Pope Saint Pius X who tried, and failed, to get rid of the Modernist teachers in Roman Catholic seminaries from which came forth generations of future Popes, Cardinals, Bishops and Priests!

Return of Jesus Christ

No wonder Christ is coming, and hopefully the Just Judge will come very, very soon, to "clean house" in the church, as Saint Peter prophecized: "For the time is, that judgment should begin at the house of God" (1 Peter 4:17).

But, WHY will it be necessary for Jesus Christ to return to "clean house" in the church, of all places???!!!!

Because it was also prophecized: "For there shall be a time, when they will not endure sound doctrine; but, according to their own desires, they will heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears: And will indeed turn away their hearing from the truth, but will be turned unto fables" (2 Timothy 4:3-4)!!!

This results in what some scholars call "The Great Apostasy", as yet another prophecy reveals to the lovers of the Truth:

"Let no man deceive you by any means, for unless there come a revolt [apostasy] first, and the man of sin [anti-Christ] be revealed..." (2 Thessalonians 2:3).

In other words, "The Great Apostasy" brings forth anti-Christ. And it was the church, or more specifically, a church leader, e.g. Pope John-Paul 2, "The Great Apostate", who, by desensitizing people to the Truth by teaching heresies, might be considered by history as being held responsible for the coming of anti-Christ??!!

In general, Pope JP-2 expressed concerns that his immediate successor, Pope #111 on the prophecy of Malachy, will be "the final Pope" and also an "anti-Pope".

An anti-Pope is a person who, although usually elected by some, or even by a majority of the Cardinals, is still not a valid Pope. Some Traditionalists Catholics, called Sede Vacantists, (the Empty Papal Chair) have information on this subject which has been under hot discussion since at least about 1970. Those who hold the position of a Papal Sede Vacante (vacant or empty chair) do not recognize any of the Satanic Vatican 2 church Popes as being valid or even lawful Popes and all of their acts are consider illegal, null and void.

Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger issued an “official” statement from the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith in June 1992 which the Pope of the Satanic Vatican 2 church, JP-2, promptly sent out as a "letter" to his Bishops on "Communion" with other churches and religions.

Ecclesial Communion

To analyze part of what he wrote, let us first begin with paragraph four where you will find Cardinal Ratzinger simply somewhat subtly reworks JP-2’s HERETICAL theology:

“Ecclesial communion is at the same time both invisible and visible. As an invisible reality, it is the communion of each human being with the Father through Christ in the Holy Spirit...”

“Ecclesial communion is... the communion of each human being.” This statement indicates that the ENTIRE human race, irregardless of state in which each soul happens to be, is in invisible communion with God the Father through God the Son, Jesus Christ, in the unity of God the Holy Ghost.

IF you stop at this point, you already have the HERESY of Indifferentism - all religions are just as good as any individual religion. This is also indicative of the HERESY of JP-2 with his skewered theology of the Incarnation which is an example, not only of HERESY, but of APOSTASY!

JP-2 must have been proud of his "clone", Cardinal Ratzinger, and apparently could not have agreed more with him where he wrote: "The one, holy, Catholic, and apostolic Church is present, in all its essential elements, in non-Catholic sects." In the same heretical "Letter" he says: "The Catholic Church is in communion with non-Catholic sects."

So, then, here is more than the sufficient proof required to realized that Pope Paul IV’s infallible Papal Bull, CUM EX APOSTOLATUS OFFICIO [Sunday, March 15, 1559] has automatically disqualified HERETIC Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger from every being legally and validly elected a Pope of the Roman Catholic Church!!

Why? At least as far back as 1992 A.D., Cardinal Ratzinger, “that.. cardinal... had deviated from the Catholic Faith or had fallen into some heresy BEFORE his nomination as... pope, the following dispositions are compulsory: The promotion or election, even if the cardinals have consented to this of common accord [i.e. unanimously], are null and void."

However, some Readers will, not doubt, be the proverbial “doubting Thomas” and want even more than the above sufficient proof before they are ready to agree that Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger triggered the compulsory requirements of the infallible Papal Bull, CUM EX APOSTOLATUS OFFICIO, just in case perhaps Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger simply got "confused"?

But how could an alleged Roman Catholic Cardinal, in charge of the "Holy Office" no less, now renamed to the "Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith", the "watchdog" of Roman Catholic Church doctrine, fall into such egregious heresy, letting everything go to the dogs?!

Hence you need to search to see if Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger did more than simply mis-speak in the above selected instances! So then, together, let us review a little more of what he wrote lest some might feel this is thus far indicative, but not 100% conclusive.

Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger, still in this same document, writes in part: “...and with the others who are fellow bearers in the divine nature, in the passion of Christ, in the same faith, in the same spirit.”

What does this fancy talk mean to the average Catholic? Probably not much!?

Theologically, it means that ALL MEN “are fellow bearers in the divine nature”! This is an heretically heinous mistranslation of divinæ consortes naturæ as found in the Scriptures where you read in part: “By whom He hath given us most great and precious promises: that by these you may be made partakers of the Divine nature: flying the corruption of that concupiscence which is in the world” (2 Peter 1:4; emphasis added.)

This also means that ALL MEN participate in the effects of “the passion of Christ”, having “the same faith”, as well as also having “the same spirit.”

WHERE have you heard this business about ALL MEN before? Do this term sound at all familiar to you?

Oh, Yes! It is in the Paul 6 NOR (Novus Ordo Rite)! Here is the OFFICIAL ICEL English translation in the ROMAN MISSAL of Paul 6:

"Take this, all of you, and drink from it: this is the cup of my blood, the blood of the new and everlasting covenant. It will be shed for you and for ALL MEN so that sins may be forgiven. Do this in memory of me."

But the Form for the Consecration of the Precious Blood has been mutilated. In the Ancient Roman Rite of the Catholic Mass, it is:

"FOR THIS IS THE CHALICE OF MY BLOOD OF THE NEW AND ETERNAL TESTAMENT: THE MYSTERY OF FAITH: WHICH SHALL BE SHED FOR YOU AND FOR MANY UNTO THE REMISSION OF SINS."

It is clear that "for ALL MEN" does NOT mean the same thing as "FOR MANY". On the contrary, the "for all men" is a blatant heresy! Proof for this is found in the official Catechism of the Council of Trent which, contrary to the heresy that "all men" are saved, teaches:

“With reason, therefore, were the words FOR ALL NOT used, as in this place the fruits of the Passion are alone spoken of, and to the elect only did His Passion bring the fruit of salvation. And this is the purport of the Apostle when he says: CHRIST WAS OFFERED ONCE TO EXHAUST THE SINS OF MANY [Heb. 9:28]; and also of the words of our Lord in John: I PRAY FOR THEM; I PRAY NOT FOR THE WORLD, BUT FOR THEM WHOM THOU HAST GIVEN ME, BECAUSE THEY ARE THINE [John 17:9].” (THE ROMAN CATECHISM, The Eucharist, # 64.)

Thus, but one more of various heresies for HERETIC Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger to notch on his gun butt of heresy and apostasy as a reminder and trophy of his diabolical ingenuity!

Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger then continues, as if this double-talk was not enough for you, writing how the Church is the “link between the invisible and visible elements of ecclesial communion.”

You are forced to conclude from this, using the laws of logic, that such pronouncements claim that the proper role for the Church is to make the INVISIBLE communion with the Blessed Trinity which the entire human race is already imputed to have, a VISIBLE communion by solidifying itself into one united organization - a one world new order - novus ordo - of things!

In other words, Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger does NOT tell you that the proper business of the Roman Catholic Church is to go out into the entire world and convert all peoples, does NOT tell you the Roman Catholic Church is supposed to sanctify a sinful race estranged from God by Original Sin and by Actual Sins.

Oh, no, not HERETIC Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger! Heaven forbid! Oops, I forgot, Pope JP-2 infallibly teaches that Heaven is only a STATE!!! SURE!! Why, JP-2's “Heaven” is really nothing more than the Teilhardian black hole of Cartesianism - the nothingness of nowhere!!

Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger’s HERETICAL teaching, in the acme of his emulation of JP-2 (In plain English Ratzinger is nothing more than a JP-2 clone - no wonder he was elected “pope” so fast!), simply means he sees the Church as the one and only organization to collect within itself all of the peoples of this world - after all, they are already “invisibly” united, via an “INVISIBLE communion”, to God - at least according to HERETIC Ratzinger, now “pope” Benedict XVI, a.k.a. B-16.

In plain Anglo-Saxon English, all of this high-falutin, gibber-jabber by HERETIC Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger simply means that the Church only has to do ONE THING! What is it?! The Church ONLY needs to “announce” this already existing actuality of this union. Just like people send out various types of announcements, e.g. for a birth, engagement, wedding, address and telephone number for a new house, etc.

HERETIC Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger outright says as much where he writes: “...she [the Roman Catholic Church] is permanently open to missionary and ecumenical endeavour, for she is sent to the world to ANNOUNCE and witness, to make present and spread the mystery of communion which is essential to her, and to gather together all people and all things into Christ, so as to be for all an INSEPARABLE SACRAMENT OF UNITY.” (Emphasis added.)

HERETIC Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger herewith informs you that there are no longer SEVEN Sacraments, but apparently EIGHT SACRAMENTS? Which Son of an anti-Christ instituted this False Ecumenical ‘INSEPARABLE SACRAMENT OF UNITY’??!!

HERETIC Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger gives you all his definition of the Church in paragraph 7 of this same document, writing: “The Church of Christ, which we profess in the Creed to be one, holy, catholic, and apostolic, is the universal Church, that is, the world wide community of the disciples of the Lord, which is present and active amid the particular characteristics and the diversity of persons, groups, times, and places.”

HERETIC Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger, the future Pope B-16, herewith identifies “the universal Church”, which is none else but “The Church of Christ” is “the world wide community of the disciples of the Lord”.

You most certainly noticed, dare I say - immediately! - that there is NO mention of: 1) the unity of the Catholic Faith; 2) of Catholic Liturgical Worship; 3) of Catholic Ecclesiastical Government; 4) of even the Pope of the Roman Catholic Church; or, 5) of the Ecclesiastical Hierarchy!!!

HERETIC Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger, and thus Pope B-16, is wont to say: “Where the eucharist is, there is the church” (Ubi eucharistia, ibi ecclesia.)

Just in case Ratzinger’s cannibalization of “Wherever Jesus Christ is, there is the Catholic Church” (Saint Ignatius of Antioch [b. Syria c. 50 A.D. - d. Rome 107 A.D.], Patriarch of Antioch, Epistle to the Smyraeans, Chapter VIII, Let Nothing Be Done Without the Bishop.) whizzed over your head, he tries to explain away his heresy, saying:

“It [i.e. communion - a.k.a. union - between the individual churches and the church universal] is rooted in the Eucharist because the Eucharistic sacrifice, while always offered in a particular community, is never a celebration of that community alone. In fact, the community, in receiving the Eucharistic presence of the Lord, receives the entire gift of salvation and shows, even in its lasting visible particular form, that it is the image and true presence of the one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church.” (Op. Cit., # 11).

Although Traditional Roman Catholic Theology holds that Jesus Christ is the principal Priest (Saint Thomas Aquinas, O.P., [b. 1225 A.D. in Rocca Secca, Naples, Italy - d.
