The Catholic Library The Catholic Library has some unique items of interest for Catholics who are interested in their Catholic Faith. In the New Testament, Part 1, you will find the Four Gospels of Saints Matthew, Mark, Luke and John along with the Acts of the Apostles. In the New Testament, Part 2, you will find all of the Epistles in addition to the Apocalypse. The Apocalypse contains the future history of the Catholic Church. It begins in about the year 95 A.D. and, although it goes all the way up to the end of the world, about 25% to 32% of the Apocalypse is devoted to the very brief reign of anti-Christ. Exclusive to the Shrine of Saint Jude website is the very interesting biography of Saint Jude Thaddeus, Apostle and Martyr, the Patron Saint of Impossible and Difficult Cases. The author takes the reader back to what life was like during the days of the Apostles by attempting to reconstruct parts of the life of Saint Jude, from his early childhood, his married life, his famous First Cousin, Jesus Christ, his life with Christ and the other Apostles, his missionary travels, death, and intercession before the Holy Trinity for all who ask his help. |
