Blessed be God!
Thanks be to God!
In the Name
of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. Amen.
I freely and joyfully pick up the Cross which Thou hast given me to carry today, O Merciful God. Permit me to carry it today for Thy Greater Honor and Glory so that by this, my Cross, Thy Most Holy Will may be done fully in me and by me. Let not prosperity lift me up nor adversity cast me down.
My Jesus, I believe that Thou art really present in
the Most Blessed Sacrament. I love Thee above all things and I desire to
possess Thee within my soul. Since I am unable now to receive Thee Sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace Thee as being already
there, and I unite myself wholly to Thee; never, never permit me to be
separated from Thee. Amen.
O Jesus, through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer Thee all of my prayers, works, joys and sufferings of today, in union with every Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, in reparation for all of my sins and most especially that the Most Holy Trinity will give me each and every one of those things which, from all eternity, the Most Holy Trinity has willed to give me today. In addition, I humbly ask for the grace of final perseverance in the CATHOLIC Faith, and also for my special intentions which are: (here mention them). Amen.
I humbly beseech Thee, O Lord God, to grant unto me all of the indulgences, especially plenary indulgences, which are attached to all of the prayers I say today and all of the Masses at which I assist and all of the Sacraments I receive and the good works which I perform, especially those of the works of mercy.
I desire to properly perform each of these actions and to enter into the proper dispositions necessary to gain each of the indulgences which are attached to each of them so that I may satisfy Thy Divine Justice. I apply one plenary indulgence to myself and the rest to the Poor, Suffering Souls in every part of Purgatory, especially to those of the best pleasure of the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary and of my greatest obligation. Amen.
O Holy Lord grant me the graces and helps I need to be faithful to all of the responsibilities and duties of my vocation and my state in life and in the faithful living of the true Spiritual Life. Amen.
I humbly beseech thee, O Lady of Mount Carmel, to continue
to keep thy mantle of protection around me and around each of my loved
ones. I thank thee for having done so in the past and for all of your continued
help and protection in the future. Amen.
Come, O Holy Ghost, fill the hearts of Thy faithful and kindle in them the fire of Thy love.
V. Send forth Thy Spirit, and they shall be
created;
R. And Thou shalt renew the face of the earth.
Let us pray
O God, who didst instruct the hearts of Thy faithful by the light of Thy Holy Spirit, grant us in the same Spirit to relish what is right and ever to rejoice in His consolation. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed
art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy
Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
Glory be the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be; world without end. Amen.
Heart of Jesus, Victim of charity, make me a living
sacrifice to Thee, holy, and pleasing unto God.
Jesus, I trust in Thee.
I humbly place my heart between the Holy Hearts of
Jesus and Mary so that in this Sanctuary it may be filled to overflowing
with the flames of the Fire of Divine Love. Amen.
To thee, O Holy Theotokos and Virgin Mother never touched
by the stain of sin, I recommend and confide the purity of my heart and
soul. Amen.
Angel of God, my guardian dear, to whom His love commits me here; ever this day be at my side, to light, to guard, to rule and to guide me. Amen.
O Most Holy Trinity, bless me, guard me and keep me from sin today and every day of the rest of my life. Amen.
Grant us O Lord, we beseech Thee, perseverance in working according to Thy Holy Will so that in our days Thy people serving Thee may be augmented in number and in merit, through Christ our Lord. Amen.
I confess to Almighty God, to blessed Mary ever a Virgin, to blessed Michael the Archangel, to blessed John the Baptist, to the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, and to all the Saints, that I have sinned exceedingly in thought, word and deed; through my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous fault. Therefore, I beseech blessed Mary ever Virgin, blessed Michael the Archangel, blessed John the Baptist, the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, and all the Saints, to pray to the Lord our God for me.
May Almighty God have mercy on me, and forgive me my sins, and bring me to everlasting life. Amen. May the Almighty and Merciful Lord grant me pardon, absolution and remission of all of my sins. Amen.
O my God, I firmly believe that Thou art one God in three Divine Persons, Father, Son and Holy Ghost; I believe that Thy Divine Son became man and died for our sins and that He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe these and all the truths which the Holy CATHOLIC Church teaches, because Thou hast revealed them, Who canst neither deceive nor be deceived.
O my God, relying on Thy infinite goodness and promises, I hope to obtain the pardon of my sins, the help of Thy grace, and life everlasting, through the merits of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Redeemer.
O my God, I love Thee above all things with my whole heart and soul, because Thou art all good and deserving of all my love. I love my neighbor as myself for the love of Thee. I forgive all who have injured me and I ask pardon for all whom I have injured.
"He humbled Himself,
becoming obedient unto death,
even to the death of the cross."
(Philippians 2:8)

| That others may be loved more than I, | Jesus, grant me the Grace to desire it. |
| That others may be esteemed more than I, | Jesus, grant me the Grace to desire it. |
| That in the opinion of the world,
others may increase, and I may decrease, |
Jesus, grant me the Grace to desire it. |

| That others may be praised and I unnoticed, | Jesus, grant me the Grace to desire it. |
| That others may be preferred to me in everything, | Jesus, grant me the Grace to desire it. |
| That others become holier than I,
provided that I become as holy as God wills, |
Jesus, grant me the Grace to desire it. |
O Holy Spirit, soul of my soul, I adore Thee. Enlighten, guide, strengthen and console me. Tell me what I ought to do, command me to do it and give me the graces necessary to do it. I promise to be submissive in everything that You permit to happen to me, only show me what is Thy Holy Will. Amen.
August Queen of Heaven! Sovereign Mistress of
the Angels! Thou who from the beginning hast received from God the
power and mission to crush the head of Satan; we humbly beseech thee to
send thy Holy Legions that under thy command and by thy power they may
pursue the evil spirits; encounter them on every side; resist their bold
attacks and drive them hence into the abyss of eternal woe. Amen.
(This Prayer was give by Our Blessed Mother to a Bernardine Sister who was shown in spirit the vast desolation caused by the devil throughout the world, and at the same time, she heard the Blessed Virgin Mary telling her that it was true, hell had been let loose upon the earth and that the time had come to pray to her as the Queen of Angels and to ask of her the assistance of the Heavenly Legions to fight against these deadly foes of God and of Men.The good Nun replied:
“But my good Mother, you who are so kind, could you not send them [to hell] without our asking?”Our Lady replied:“No, because prayer is one of the conditions required by God Himself for obtaining favors.”The Nun was then given this Prayer by the Queen of Heaven and was instructed by Our Lady to get it printed and to distribute it free.)
Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary I beg of thee the conversion to the CATHOLIC Faith of (mention name of person) and also the Grace of Final Perseverance for him/her in the Holy CATHOLIC Faith. Amen.
Because Holy Water is one of the Sacramentals of the Church, it remits Venial Sins. Therefore, it is recommended that you frequently, even daily, keep your soul beautifully pure in God's sight by devoutly making the traditional Sign of the Cross while you say:
BY
THIS HOLY WATER AND BY THY PRECIOUS BLOOD WASH AWAY ALL OF MY SINS, O LORD.
Of course this does not, and can not, replace the
Sacrament of Penance,
but it is prudent and wise to use it nonetheless.
Some People Carry a Holy Water Bottle in their Vehicles
or in their Pocket or Purse
In Order to Use Holy Water Frequently During the Day
and at Night Before Retiring
Indulgences:
One Plenary Indulgence can be applied to oneself under the conditions of:
1) being in the State of Grace,
2) reciting this prayer devoutly while making the Sign of the Cross with Holy Water which has been Blessed and Exorcised in the Traditional way, using a pre-Vatican 2 Ritual, and
3) having the intention of gaining this indulgence.
In addition, 1,000 Plenary Indulgences, applicable only to the Poor Souls in Purgatory, are gained each time this is done, also under the same 3 above conditions.
O Jesus, Divine Savior, be merciful to me and to the whole world. Amen.
Powerful God, Holy God, Immortal God, have compassion on me and on the whole world. Amen.
Grace and Mercy, my Jesus, during this present danger. Shield us with Thy Precious Blood. Amen.
Eternal Father, show us Mercy in the Name of the Precious Blood of Thy only Son, show us Mercy we implore Thee. Amen.
This prayer was disclosed to a devout Priest in Rome when he was offering Holy Mass. It was revealed to him that those who say this prayer daily with devotion and faith would be spared from the great sufferings that are soon to come upon the world.
Watch Thou, O Lord, with those who wake, or watch, or weep tonight and give Thine Angels and Saints charge over those who sleep.
Tend Thy sick ones, O Lord Christ.
Rest Thy weary ones.
Bless Thy dying ones.
Soothe Thy suffering ones.
Pity Thy afflicted ones.
Shield Thy joyous ones.
All for Thy Love's sake.
Amen.
Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood in the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus with all of its Love, all of its Sufferings, and all of its Merits.
First, To expiate for all of the sins that I have committed today and during all of my life.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.Second, To purify all the good I have done poorly today and during all of my life.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.Third, To supply for the good that I ought to have done today and that I have neglected today and during all of my life.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
A Poor Clare Nun - who wore the same type of habit as the Poor Clare Nun in the above photo - who had just died, appeared to her Abbess who was praying for her and told her:“I went straight to Heaven, for, by means of this prayer, recited every evening, I paid all of my debts.”Of course this does not, and can not, replace the Sacrament of Penance, but it is prudent and wise to use it nonetheless.
O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee, and I detest all my sins, because of Thy just punishments, but most of all because they offend Thee, my God, Who art all-good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Thy grace, to sin no more and to avoid all of the near occasions of sin. Amen.
On Prayer
The time may be delayed
the manner may
be unexpected, but the
answer is sure to come.
Not a tear of sacred sorrow,
not a breath of holy desire
poured out to God
will ever be lost.
But in God's own time and way
will be wafted back again
in clouds of mercy, and
fall in showers of blessings
on you and on those
for whom you pray.
